Jess Parsons White is Senior Vice President, Good Measure Meals/Open Hand Atlanta.  Jess has spent the past 8 years charting the course of Good Measure Meals, one of Atlanta’s most successful social enterprises. Good Measure Meals is “Atlanta’s Kitchen on a Mission,” providing gourmet, ready-to-eat meals and nutrition services to the paying public.

100% of all net proceeds from Good Measure Meals directly support medically appropriate meals, medical nutrition therapy, and nutrition education to clients of non-profit Open Hand Atlanta who are battling chronic and critical illnesses.

After graduating from Georgia Tech in Applied Psychology, White completed a Master’s Degree at Oregon State University focusing on behavior modification and business management.

She later received an online certificate from University of Maryland for Entrepreneurship Innovation, and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Atlanta Chapter of Social Enterprise Alliance and Georgia Tech’s Social Impact Club, Enterprise to Empower.

Mom to a 3.5 year old and an 8 month old baby, White regularly capitalizes on the power of mentorship for working mothers, keeping communication, commiseration, encouragement, and advice flowing freely amongst the other mothers both in her professional and personal networks.
